What is “financially integrated” anyway?
Integrated ~ To make whole by bringing all parts together.
Welcome, the Integrator here! The purpose of this website is to share tools and thoughts about financial life.
Managing your finances can be tedious, sometimes boring (especially around tax time! ) and occasionally stressful. Budgeting. Saving. Investing. Bonds. Shares. Debt. Credit. Funds. But with a little bit of time and effort, it can be interesting and occasionally even profitable!
I want to share some of the lessons that I’ve learned over the years in growing a passive dividend income stream of $25k/yr and also document my progress to try and get to $50k/yr in passive income by January 1, 2018. I hope it helps folks that are new to managing their money fast track their own path to independence.
Who am I?
I’m an expat Aussie in my late 30’s happily married, with a couple of little ones living the dream in the New York area. I’ve created this blog to help share a passion for finance which has come from having studied and worked in finance since my early 20’s. I’ve also managed my own money for 15+ years which I have had great enjoyment in doing.
What can you expect from this blog?
This blog will cover a range of issues from budgeting and saving your money to investing. There will be specific focus on dividend investing (which is my investing approach) as well as well as other stuff that happens to be finance related. I will generally try and post here a couple of times a week.
Thanks for stopping by and best of luck to all of you in getting yourselves Financially Integrated!
